Converted Sally

This is a pic of Sally I did in a new method of robotization that Im working on. I'm not sure why I gave her a scythe, it just looks cool. Argh I just noticed...the leg is kind of fuzzy...damn.

Now for a long, long description.

This new form of robotization is the wave of the future. Using nanotechnology A host can be converted from an organic to an inorganic life form on the spot. From each host, many more nanobots are produced which will then spread to others like the flu. The nanobots are specially designed to carry out two different degrees of robotization.

The first is called a “Quick Sweep” the bots will begin this robotization process if conversion of the target host is required quickly. A sort of “makeshift” robotization. All surrounding metal materials (No lower than iron.) are assimilated and integrated to the organic components of the host. A subject who has been the victim of a Quick Sweep can have the process reversed if action is taken quickly enough. This hasty assembly will usually leave the robotized host with a mismatched appearance of different parts from various sources. (As seen above in the picture. Though this particular host also happens to be in the middle of the 2nd degree of robotization. *see below*)

The 2nd degree of robotization is called a “Conversion” This is a much more extensive robotization. Everything is robotized, from the bones to the internal organs. The bots will carry out this degree when they have plenty of time to work on the host. A host can be taken through this process after the 1st degree or can be robotized immediately from first infiltration. This process naturally produces much more powerful hosts composed of fine metals and if given enough time, even harder materials like diamond.

This process however is also much more dire for the host in that after a host has been through the 2nd degree, it is irreversible. Or at least there is no known way of reversing the process. By this time the nano bots have secured themselves to the vital organs and central nervous system of the host. Any attempt to tamper with or otherwise remove the bots, with result in the death of the host. A Conversion can be stopped if it isn’t yet finished, however any part of the host that had already been effected cannot be returned to normal.

Infection and Incubation

A host will most likely never know that he or she has in fact been infected, until it is quite literally too late. The nanobots are virtually invisible and have stealth instruments to keep their presents hidden from most known scanners/sensors. These bots are not just mindless drones. They have been programed to learn, adapt and evolve to ultimately achieve more efficient ways of robotization. If they were to ever master flight and become airborne, it would quickly spell the end of organic life as we know it.

Once inside a host the bots will attempt to get to the brain as fast as they can. This will usually take 20, 30 minutes tops. Once there they will seize control of all major functions. Rather than insert programming into the host to corrupt the mind. They will simply amplify the negative aspects, or “darkside” of the host. In Conversion the 2nd degree, the new body of the host will usually take shape according to the personal tastes and personality of the now evil host.

After initial control of the brain has been completed the bots will commence with one of the two degrees of robotization. A Quick Sweep can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. A Conversion will take usually 2 to 6 hours or more.(Depending on how powerful the bots are attempting to make the host.)

I think I covered just about everything. I hope this idea hasn't already been thought of before. If it has, oh well
